• Now x ran 20 seconds which means:

             20 x 10 = 200 m

• Now y finished it in 25 seconds which means:

             28 x 8 = 200 m

• So y ran 8 meters in 1 second. ...................(ii)

• Now comparing (i) and (ii), we can conclude that x ran faster as he covered more distance in a single second.
