Given that total ratio = 5 + 3 = 8.

Given that 3 kg of 85 per kg is mixed with 5 kg of 95 per kg.

The cost price of the mixture = 3  * 85 + 5 * 95

                                                  = 730.

Given that 1/4th of the mixture is sold. = 1/4 * 8

                                                                = 2.

Then the remaining mixture = 8 - 2

                                               = 6.

Given that the mixture is sold at 110per kg and the remaining at 120 per kg.

The Selling price of the mixture = 2 * 110 + 6 * 120

                                                     = 940.

We know that Profit% = SP - CP/CP * 100

                                     = (940 - 730)/730 * 100

                                     = 210/730 * 100

                                     = 28.7%.

Therefore the whole profit = 28.7%.

Hope this helps!
