Two bulbs of 60W - 200V & 100 W - 200 V have been connected in series to 220V supply. What
is the current drawn from electric supply?​

In a parallel circuit same potential is applied to all the branches.

Thus current drawn by 60 W bulb will be: 60/220 = 3/11 A (using Power = VI)

and by 100 W bulb is: 100/220 = 5/11 A

Thus total current drawn would be: (3+5)/11 = 8/11 A
