Two buses start from the same spot for the same circular root. One is a BRTS bus returning in 35 minutes. The other is a regular express bus taking 42 minutes to return. After how many minutes will they meet again at the same initial spot ?

Given that two buses start from the same spot.

Given that BRTS returning in 35 minutes.

Given that regular express bus returning in 42 minutes.

Here,

We have to calculate the LCM of 35,42 for meeting again at initial spot.

= > Prime factorization of 35 = 5 * 7

= > Prime factorization of 42 = 2 * 3 * 7

LCM(35,42) = 2 * 3 * 5 * 7 = 210.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, they will meet again at the same initial spot after 210 minutes.

Hope this helps!
