x-y=12...given
x+y=90.....sum of compln angles
by adding we get
2x=102
x=51
putting value of x in eq 1st we get
y = 39
so two comlementary angles are
51 & 39

Let the angles be x and y.
As we know, sum of complementary angles is 90°.
So, x + y = 90°                                                                           (1)
And given, that x - y = 12°                                                         (2)

Adding (1) and (2) gives,
  x+y+x-y = 90°-12°
     or, 2x = 78°
     or, x = 39°

∴ The angles are 39° and 51°.
