Answer:

The charge on the two capacitors will be 12 \mu \mathrm{C} and 24 \mu \mathrm{C}.

Explanation:

There are two given capacitance's of the value 3 micro farad and 6 micro farad and the two given potentials are 2 volt and 5 volt.

So charge on each will be \mathrm{q}_{1}=3 \times 2=6 \mu \mathrm{C} and \mathrm{q}_{2}=6 \times 5=30 \mu \mathrm{C}

Total charge will be the sum of the two that is 30+6=36 \mu \mathrm{C}

And total capacitance =c_{1}+c_{2}=3+6=9 \mu F

When connected in parallel the charge distribution over the capacitance's will be as follows:

 \mathrm{Q}_{1}=\mathrm{c}_{1} \mathrm{xV}=12 \mu \mathrm{C} and

Q_{2}=c_{1} \times V=24 \mu C.
