Two cards are drawn in succession without replacement from a pack of 52 playing cards. Find the probability that (a) exactly one of them is spade (b) at least one of them is spade

a) E = exactly one of them is spade

F(O) = 13

P(E) = F(O) / T(O) = 13/52 = 1/4

b) E = at least one of them is spade

F(O) = 52/52 = 1
