Two Cars, A and B, (starting, at the same time, from the same point) are moving
with average speeds of 40 km/h and 50 km/h, respectively, in the same direction.
Find how far will Car B be from Car A after 3 hours.

Explanation:

speed of car A - 40km/h

speed of car B - 60km/h

distance = speed×time

distance covered by car A = 40×3hrs

= 120kms

distance covered by car B = 50×3hrs

= 150kms

difference between car B and A

= 150kms - 120kms = 30 kms.

thus, car B is 30 kms ahead / far than car A
