Let the duration car A traveled when they meet be h hours.

Therefore duration car B traveled when they meet will be (h-1) hours.

Distance Car A would have traveled = Speed x times = 80 x h = 80h km

Distance Car B would have traveled = Speed x times = 70 x (h - 1) = 70(h-1) km

The total distance covered is 575km:

80h + 70(h - 1) = 575 km

80h + 70h - 70 = 575

150h = 645

h = 4.3 hours = 4 hours 18 mins

10.00am + 4 hours 18 mins = 2.18pm

Distance Car A traveled = 80 x h = 80 x 4.3 = 344km

Answer: They will meet at 2.18pm at 344 km from the point Car A started.
