VELOCITY OF CAR A=36KM/hr=10m/s

VELOCITY OF CAR B=48KM/hr=40/3m/s

TIME=15S

DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY CAR A=10/15m=2/3m

DISTANCE TRRAVELLED BY CAR B=40/45m=8/9m

NOW TOTAL DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM=8/9+2/3=14/9m

TOTAL DISPLACEMENT=10/9m

WE CAN FIND TOTAL DISPLACEMENT BY USING PYTHAGORUS THEOREM.

hope you understand
