The  magnitude of the Electrostatic force is 7.48 N

Explanation:

The electrostatic force is given by the formula:

F = (Kq₁q₂)/r²

Where,

K = Coulomb's constant = 8.987 × 10⁹ Nm²C²

q₁ = One charged particle = 10 μC = 10 × 10⁻⁶ C

q₂ = Another charged particle = 20 μC = 20 × 10⁻⁶ C

r = Distance between two charged particles = 12 cm = 12 × 10⁻² m

On substituting the values, we get,

F = (8.987 × 10⁹ × 10 × 10⁻⁶ × 20 × 10⁻⁶)/(12 × 10⁻²)

F = 0.748 × 10⁻¹ × 10²

∴ F = 7.48 N
