two circle, each of radius 7 cms intersect each other the distance between their center is 7 root two cms. find the area common to both the circles.

The area of the one half of intersection is the area of circular segment. This should be evaluated in delivering equilateral triangle and radii of same circle.

In fact, we could subtract the area of triangle from it to find the area of curved part.

This should consider four such congruent parts that is common to find area of both sectors.
