Answer:

Congruent means they are same

so if the radius of 1 circle is 5cm then the radius of 2 circle will also be 5cm

So formula of diameter= r×2

= 5×2

= 10cm

so the diameter of 2nd circle will be 10cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Concept:

The concept of geometry will be used to solve the question.

Given:

Two circles which are mentioned in the question are congruent. The radius of one circle is 5 cm .

To Find:

Among the two circles, we have to find out the diameter of the second circle.

Solution:

Two circles are congruent.Congruent refers to something that is "absolutely equal" in terms of size and shape. The shapes hold true regardless of how we rotate, flip, or turn them.

Then we can say that the raidus of first circle= the radius of second circle=5 cm .

The formula of diameter of the circle is 2 \times radius.

The radius of the second circle is 5 cm .

The diameter will be 2 \times 5=10 cm .

The diameter of the second circle is 10 cm.
