If 2coins are tossed then the above possibilitys are possible.

therefore we can see that from the above conditions head of occures 3 times so therefore the probability is 3 by 4

Total possible outcomes n(S) = {HH,TT,TH,HT}.

= > n(S) = 4.

Let A be the event of getting atleast one head.

= > n(A) = {HH,TH,HT}

= > n(A) = 3.

Therefore, the required probability P(A) = n(A)/n(S)

= > P(A) = 3/4.
