The sum of Complementary angles is 90°

Let the measures of the angles be

5x and 1x bcoz they are in a ratio 5:1

So,

5x+1x=90°

6x=90°

x=90÷6

x=15

•Ans-

5x=15×5=75

1x=15

The measures of the a are 15° and 75°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let first angle=x°

second angle=90°-x°

x/90°-x°=5/1

x=5(90-x)

x=450-5x

6x=450

x=450/6

x=75°

second angle=90°-75°

=15°
