Two components in the ratio of x : y form an azeotropic mixture. They are mixed in the ratio
of x: 2y, how many moles one of the pure component y will be evaporated before getting
azeotropic solution?​

Azeotropic mixture is a mixture in which their proportion become same in the solution & in the vapour phase.

As x:y is the ratio for being azeotropic, If they are mixed in ratio x:2y, then extra y moles will be evaporated before getting azeotropic mixture.
