Above two concentric Circles with 5 cm & 3 cm each ...then the cord of bigger circle which touches small circle ...i.e this cord makes tangent of smaller circle ...then cord of bigger circle , radius of samller circle & radius of bigger circle make right angle triangle ...then By Pythagoras theorem.. & then legth of cord is 8cm.
