Since the circles are concentric so they have common centre.
Distance between them is given by formula-

R₁-R₂ where R₁≥R₂

So distance between them=14cm-7cm=7cm
So π14²-π7²=π147=462 cm²

We know that area of circle with radii 14cm = pi * r * r

                                                                        = 3.14 * 14 * 14

                                                                        = 616

 Area of circle with radii 7cm = pi * r * r

                                                = 3.14 * 7 * 7

                                                = 154

Area of space between them  = 616 - 154

                                                   = 462 cm.

Hope this helps!
