Power is inversely proportional to resistance for equal potential difference
then the ratio is 2R:R = 2:1
then the ratio is 2R:R = 2:1

in series the current will be same
the heat generated = (i^2)*R
therefore ratio of heat will be same as the ratio of resistance =2:1
the heat generated = (i^2)*R
therefore ratio of heat will be same as the ratio of resistance =2:1
