2n 2n+2 are even numbers
half of larger = 2n+2/2
1/4 of small=2n/4
2n+2 /2 = 2n/4 +5
2n+2/2 -2n/4 =5
2(2n+2) -2n/4 =5
4n+4-2n/4 =5
2n+4 =5×4
2n+4=20
2n=20-4
2n=16
n=16/2
n=8
larger number
2n+2
2(8)+2
16+2
