Let the 1st number be x.
2nd Number = x+1
Given,
1/4*x = 1/5(x+1) +1
x/4 = (x+1)/5 +1
x/4= (x+1+5)/5
By cross multiplying
5x= 4x+24
x=24
1st number = 24
2nd number= 25
