two cross roads,each of width 3 m ,run at right angle through the center of a rectangular park of length 60 m and breadth 33 m and parallel to its sides. find the area of the roads. Also find the cost constructing the road at the rate of Rs. 100 per meter square.

area of the roads=
area of rect= 2(l+b)
=2(60×33)
=1980
length = 60-6=56
breadth = 33-6=27
area=56×27
=1512
cost per meter square=100
cost for constructing road = 1980-1512=488
488×100= 48800rs
