Answer

Find the area of road

width = 5m

Length of first parallel roads

Area of first Road 70 × 5 = 350m²

Length of second road 45m

Area of second road = 45 × 5 = 225m²

Area of common part of cross road with 5m width

Centre of the Park 5 × 5 = 25m²

Area of road = Area of first Road + area of second cross road - Common area

= ( 350 + 225 ) - 25

= 575 - 25

= 550m²

Find the area of rectangular park

Area of rectangle = Length × breadth

= 70 × 45

= 3150m²

so,the area of rectangular park is 3150m²

Find the perimeter of rectangular park

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( Length+Breadth)

= 2 ( 70 + 45)

= 2(115)

= 230m

so, the Perimeter of rectangular park is 230m
