Answer:

Let ABCD and EFGH be the two crosslands

Let PQRS be the square in between the two crosslands .

For Rectangle ABCD -

Length = 60 m

Breadth = 6m

Area = Length × Breadth

= 60m × 6m

= 360m²

For Rectangle EFGH -

Length = 40 m

Breadth = 6 m

Area = Length × Breadth

= 40m × 6m

= 240m²

Area of Square PQRS

= Side × Side

= 6m × 6m

= 36m²

Area of shaded region

= Area of rectangle ABCD + Area of rectangle EFGH - Area of square PQRS

= 360m² + 240m² - 36m²

= 400m² - 36m²

= 364m²

Total Cost = 364 m² × ₹100

= ₹36400
