Given that two cubes each of side 15 cm are joined end to end. Since they are joined end to end, the new length of the cuboid will be 15 + 15 = 30 cm

The breadth would still be = 15 cm

Height = 15 cm

We know that surface e area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh), where l = length, h = height and b = breadth.

So, surface area of resulting cuboid = 2(30 × 15 + 15 × 15 + 30 × 15)

→ 2(450 + 225 + 450)

→ 2(1125)

→ 2250 cm²

\sf Hence, your \  answer \ is \ 2250 \ cm^2

Other formulas related to cuboid :-

→ Lateral surface area = 2(l + b)h

→ Volume = lbh

\bf\huge\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}

Side of cube ⇒ a = 15 cm

Dimensions of cuboid

= 15 + 15

= 30 cm

Breadth = 15 cm

Height = 15 cm

Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)

= 2(30 × 15 + 15 × 15 + 30 × 15)

= 2(450 + 225 + 450)

=2 × 1125

= 2250 cm^2
