2 cubes joined together so the new solid formed is a cuboid

Since two cubes are placed side by side with length 6 cm, length of the new cuboid formed will be 12 cm, width of the cuboid will be 6 cm and the height of the cuboid will be 6 cm

So, Volume of cuboid = LxBxH

Where L is the length, B is the breadth or width and H is the height.

Volume of cuboid = 12 x 6 x 6 = 432 cm³

cuboid is formed

length = length of 1st cube +length of 2nd cube
6+6=12
breath =6
height =6

volume of cuboid =length ×breath ×height

12×6×6= 432

volume of cuboid =432
