Hlo friend.. Cutiepie Here.

Here is ur answer :

Volume of cube = 27 cm³

Let the side be a

( side)³ = 27

a³ = 27

a =  \sqrt[3]{27}

a = 3

Side = 3 cm

Two cubes each of volume 27 cm cube are joined end to end to form a solid.

So, both of cubes have side 3 cm.

By joining two cubes the cuboid will form.

Length l of cuboid = 3 + 3 = 6 cm

Breadth b of cuboid = 3 cm

Height h of cuboid = 3 cm

Lateral surface area of cuboid =

2 \times height \: (length + breadth)

 = 2h(l + b)

 = 2 \times 3(3 + 6)

 = 6 \times 9

 = 54 {cm}^{2}

_____________________

Total surface area of cuboid

 = 2(length \times breadth + breadth \times height + height \times length)

 = 2(lb + bh + hl)

 = 2(6 \times 3 + 3 \times 3 + 3 \times 6)

 = 2(18 + 9 + 18)

 = 2 \times 45

 = 90 \:  {cm}^{2}

Answer: 54cm^2 & 90cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of one cube= s^3

27=s^3

s=∛27

s=3 cm

now length of the resulting cuboid=3+3=6 cm

breath=3 cm

height=3 cm

now ,

lateral surface area of cuboid =2h(l+b)

2×3(6+3)

6(9)

54 cm^2

and

total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+lh+bh)

2(18+18+9)

2(45)

90 cm^2
