Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

hey dude!!!

Let their edges be a and b.

Then,

a³/b³ = 1/27

⇒ (a/b)³ = (1/3)³

⇒ a/b = 1/3 -------------------- (1)

Therefore, Ratio of the surface area,

⇒ 6a²/6b²

⇒ a²/b²

⇒ (a/b)²

⇒(1/3)² [From (1)]

⇒1/9

⇒i.e. 1 : 9

 Ratio of the surface area  = 1 : 9

hope it helps u!!

Answer:

formula of volume of cube =6a^3  [a=side of cube]

let the side first cube =a

side of second cube =b

therefore => 6a^3 / 6b^3=1/27

=> a^3/b^3=1/27

=> cube rooting on both the sides= a/b=1/3

3a=b

so,surface area of first cube/surface area of second cube= 6a^2/6b^2

=> 6a^2/6x9a^2 = a^2/9a^2 = 1/9

=>1:9
