Step-by-step explanation:

The total surface area of a cube of

side b = 6b^2

Now, the dimesions of new cuboid formed by joining two cube of side b

length = l = 2b

breadth =b = b

height = h = b

aurface area = 2(lb + bh+ hl)

= 2(2b*b + b*b +b*2b)

= 2( 2b^2 + b^2 + 2b^2 )

= 2 ( 5b^2)

= 10b^2

Now

ratio = 6b^2/10 b^2

=6/10

=3/5

= 3:5
