☆Hello friend☆

Volume of cube=l^3

8cm^3= l^3
 \sqrt[3]{8} = l
2 cm=l
Length when cubes are joined together=
2cm+2cm=4cm
Hieght=2cm
Breadth=2cm
Surface area of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)
= 2(4×2+2×2+2×4)cm^2
=2×(8+4+8)cm^2
=2×20 cm^2
=40cm^2

Hope it helps

Volume=8 cm^3
Therefore,side=cube root of 8 cm^3=2 cm
Length,breadth and height of new cuboid are 4 cm,2 cm,2 cm respectively.
Therefore total surface area of new cuboid is 2(l*b+b*h+l*h)
                                                                       =2(4*2+2*2+4*2)
                                                                       =2(8+4+8)
                                                                       =2*20
                                                                       =40
Hence answer is 40 cm^2

Hope this helps!!!!
