Answer:

12.87 cm approx

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of first cuboid = 12 cm

Breadth of first cuboid = 10 cm

Height of first cuboid = 8 cm

Volume of first cuboid = 12 × 10 × 8 cm³ = 960 cm³

__________________________

Now, Length of second cuboid = 14 cm

Breadth of second cuboid = 12 cm

Height of second cuboid = 7 cm

Volume of second cuboid = 14 × 12 × 7 cm³ = 1176 cm³

__________________________

Volume of big cube = Volume of first cuboid + Volume of Second Cuboid

= 960 + 1176

= 2136 cm³

But, If the length of the edge of the cube is a, then its volume = a³

∴ a³ = 2136

or, a = ∛2136 = 12.87 cm approx.
