Acc to the question, Two cyclists begin training on an oval racecourse at the same time. the professional cyclist completes each lap in 4 minutes; the novice takes 6 minutes to complete each lap.

The question is pretty simple. You just need to find the LCM of 4 and 6.

LCM of 4 and 6 = 12.

It means that the pro cyclist will take 12 minutes to cover 3 rounds where as the novice one will take 12 minutes to cover 2 rounds.

Hence at 12th minute both will be at the starting point, with the only difference that pro has covered 3 rounds and novice has covered 2 rounds.

Also both of them will keep meeting at this spot after every 12 minutes i.e. multiple of 12 like 24 minutes, 36 minutes and so on.
