Probability of getting 3 as sum= 1/18

Probability of getting 4 as sum= 1/12

Probability of getting 5 as sum = 1/9

Total number of possible outcomes when two dice are rolled together at the same time = 6×6 = 36

Case 1 - sum of the numbers on the dice is 3

The possible sets = (1,2) and (2,1)

Probability = 2/36

= 1/18

Case 2 - sum of the numbers on the dice is 4

The possible sets = (2,2) , (1,3) and (3,1)

Probability = 3/36

= 1/12

Case 3 - sum of the numbers on the dice is 5

The possible sets = (2,3) ,(3,2) , (4,1) and (1,4)

Probability = 4/36

= 1/9
