P(A)=n(A)/n(s)= 6/36=1/6

(1,3),(2,2),(3,1)

Number of B= 3

P(B)=n(B)/n(s)=3/36=1/12

Probability of getting both sum as 4and also a double=P(A∩B)=1/36

So,probability of getting a double or a total of 4 is calculated using addition theorem of probability

P(A∪B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A∩B)

=1/6+1/12-1/36

= 8/36=2/9
