no of elements in sample space n(S)=36

let us take A as the event of getting 6 to the power n

if 6 is raised to any power other then 1 we will get a number above 12 which is the maximum sum from two dice

therefore 6^1=6 is the only no possible

therefore A= {(3,3)(1,2)(2,1)}

no of elements n(A)= 3

probability p(A)= n(A)/n(S)

= 3/36=1/12
