When two different dice are rolled then then Chances of Doublets are as follow

(1,1) , (2,2) , (3,3) , (4,4) , (5,5) ,(6,6)

There are six possible outcomes here So favourable number of outcomes = 6

Total number of outcomes when rolling a pair of dice = 36

P ( getting Doublet ) = Favourable number of outcome / Total number of outcome

P ( getting Doublet ) = 6 / 36 = 1 / 6
