two electric bulb A and B marked 40w - 220v and 60w - 220v respectively which one of the two has a greater resistance​

hey mate!

here is your answer:

power=v^2/R

power=220/R

i.e 60=220^2/R1

and 40=220^2/R2

R1=220×220/60=806.666

R2=220×220/40=1210

R2>R1.

You can also directly write that power is indirectly proportional to resistance so, the pne which has more power will have less resistance and vice versa.

So, bulb with power 40 has high resistance.
