let the third side be x,
ATQ

the two equal sides= 2x-5
so,

perimeter=55m
2x-5 + 2x-5 + x=55
5x-10=55
x-2=11
x=13

therefore, sides of the triangle are 13m, 21m, 21m

therefore,AB+BC+AC=55 (perimeter of triangle=55m)
after calculation BC=21.66
therefore, AB=BC-5
AB=21.66-5
AB=16.66
AB=AC
