3x-1=9-1=8 units

perimeter = 8+8+6

=20units

3x-2x=1+2
therefore x=3cm

so the perimeter of the triangle is 3x-1=2x+2+2x=3*3-1+2*3+2+2*3
so the perimeter is 20cm
