Hi ,

Let the length of the third side = x m

length of the remaining

two equal sides = 3x - 3

perimeter = 34 m

x + 3x -3 + 3x -3 = 34

7x - 6 = 34

7x = 34 + 6

7x = 40

x = 40/7 m

Therefore ,

third side length = x = 40/7 m

remaining two equal sides length = 3x - 3

= 3 ( 40/7 ) - 3

= ( 120 - 21 ) / 7

= 99 /7 m
