We know the forces,

A= 10N

B= 40N

Angle =¶=60 degrees

We know the formula for resultant

R= √(A)^2+(B)^2 + 2(AB) cos ¶

--> √100+1600+800 cos 60

--> √2500*1/2

-->√1250

which comes out to be 35.355339
