Two forces of 30 N and 40N are inclined to each other at 60° find their resultant .what will be the angle if the forces are inclined at right angles to each other?

tan α = Q sin Ф / (P + Q cos Ф)

= 40 (√3 / 2)/ (30+(40*1/2)) = 2√3 / 5

α = tan-1 (2√3/5) = 34.7 degrees
