Two friends Aisha and Succhi have 40 and 61 numbers of same type of toys respectively which they have to distribute among two groups of children such that each one gets equal number of toys .After distributing in such a manner Aisha and Succhi are left with 5 toys each. Then find the total number of children who got the toys and toys received by each children.
Answers
Aisha has total toys with her = 40
number of toys left to her = 5 ( given)
∴ she has distributed = ( 40 -5 ) = 35 toys
Succhi has total toys with her = 61
number of toys left to her = 5 ( given)
∴ she has distributed = ( 61 - 5 ) =56 toys
Now according to the question each one gets equal number of toys:-
Let consider Aisha distributed toys in a group of children , which has = P number of children.
Let consider Succhi distributed toys in a group of children , which has =Q number of children.
Now let consider each child will get = n number of toys.
∴ number of children in a group where Aisha has distributed 35 toys :- P ×n=35
5 × 7 = 35
And also number of children in a group where Succhi has distributed 56 toys :-
∴ Q ×n=56.
8 ×7 = 56
Here we should consider that n = 7 ( n cannot be less than 7, other wise they wouldn't been left with 5 each)
∴ P = 5 & Q = 8
Aisha distributed total = 35 toys = 5 ×7
Succhi distributed total = 56 toys = 8 × 7
Hence total number of children = ( 5 + 8 ) = 13.
Ans :- 13 is the total number of children who got 7 toys each.

Toys received by each child 7.
What is distributed?
- Distributions, also known as Schwartz distributions or generalized functions, are objects that generalize the classical notion of functions in mathematical analysis.
- Distributions make it possible to differentiate functions whose derivatives do not exist in the classical sense.
According to the question;
Total number of children = 13
Toys received by each child = 7
Step-by-step:
Given that Aisha and Suchi are left with 5 toys each, hence
they distributed 35 toys and 56 toys each.
Let 'x' be the number of children in group in which Aisha distributed
Let 'y' be the number of children in group in which Suchi distributed
Let 'n' be the number of toys each child has got.
Thus, x*n=35 and y*n=56.
From the above equations it is clear that n is the g.c.d(35, 56) or divisor of g.c.d(35, 56).
But g.c.d = 7
Hence n = 7( n cannot be 1, because if n would have been 1 they would have distributed to some more children and henceforth they wouldn't been left with 5 each)
x = 5 and y = 8.
Total number of children who got the toys are x + y = 13,
Hence, Toys received by each child = 7.
