use formula ,
total no of days taken by both worker =AB/(A + B)
where A = no of days taken by 1st worker and B = no of days taken by 2nd worker
question ask ,
A = 15 days
so,
5 = 15B/( 15 + B)
75 + 5B = 15B
75 = 10B
B = 75/10 = 15/2 days
hence ,
2nd friend taken 15/2days for complete that work
