Not so sure cause i'm myself in 7th grade.
Ok so in 1 hour, John travels 20km.
Therefore in 1 hour 30mins i.e. 1.5hour, he will travel 30 km.
In the same way Namith will travel 62.5km.
Now I guess their disance will be 30+62.5 km= 92.5km

Answer:

48 km

Step-by-step explanation:

20*1/5=30km(driven by john)
25*1.5=37.5km(driven by Namith)

If John travels north and Namith travels west it form a right angle triangle.
SO to find how much distance they are apart you need to calculate the hyptenuse.
30 square= 900

37.5 square= 1406.25

900+1406.25= 2306.25

square root of 2306.25= 48.023

When calculated to the nearest hundreth it is 48.02km
