Answer:

Step-byBoth P & Q invest for 12 months while R invedts for 6 months.

The ratio of capital employed = 60:72:36

= 5:6:3

Total profit = 98000

Profit will be divided in the ratio 5:6:3

=> P = 5/14 x 98000 = 35000

Q = 6/14 x 98000 = 42000

R = 3/14 x 98000 = 21000

Capital of P & Q will be 35000/20% & 42000/20%

=> R’s investment = Q's investment = 42000 / 20% = 210000
