Answer

Here we would prefer Fuel A

━━━━━━━━━

  • When a fuel produces blue flame that means the fule is completely used, that is complete combustion

  • When a fuel produces yellow flame it means the fuel is not completely burnt or in other words, it is incomplete combustion

  • Also another reason for Blue flame is that enough amount of oxygen is available

  • In the case where it produces yellow flame there might me a lack of oxygen and so due to this the combustion can't be complete

  • Oxygen is a primary requirement for combustion if there is enough fuel and heat but no oxygen then there will be no combustion

  • Sun uses a different principal and doesn't need this oxygen there [There is no oxygen in space and that's why astronauts carry oxygen cylinders]
