◆ Explaination -

Initially, according to ideal gas equation -

PV = nRT

As P, V & T are same for both gases, n must be same.

Later after mixing the two gases, V' = V & n' = n + n = 2n,

P'V' = n'RT

P'V = 2nRT

But nRT = PV,

P'V = 2(PV)

P' = 2P

Therefore, pressure of the mixture is 2P.
