Volume = 64 cm3
So, edge of cube = 4 cm
So, length of resulting cuboid = (4+4) cm = 8cm
So, surface area of resulting cuboid = 2(8*4 + 4*4 + 4*8) cm2
= 2(32 + 16 +32) cm2
= 2*80 cm2
= 160 cm2
So, edge of cube = 4 cm
So, length of resulting cuboid = (4+4) cm = 8cm
So, surface area of resulting cuboid = 2(8*4 + 4*4 + 4*8) cm2
= 2(32 + 16 +32) cm2
= 2*80 cm2
= 160 cm2

Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
As the volume of one cube is 64 cm3
Then one side be 4 cm
Also given there are 2 cubes so we get that the total length will be :
4+4=8cm.
So the total surface area of the resulting cuboid will be : 2x(lb +bh + lh)
= 2(8x4 +4x4 +8x4)
=2(32+16+32)
=2(80)
=160cm2
