two lamps one rated 100W, 220V and the other 60W,220V are connected in paralel to elecric mains supplies. find the current drawn by two bulbs from the line, if the suplly voltage is 220V

P1 = 100W
P2 = 60W

V = 220V

P1 = V*i1

100 = 220 * i1

100 / 220 = i1

i1 = 0.45 A

P2 = V*i 2

60 = 220*i2

i2 = 0.27A

Hence, i1 = 0.45A and i2 = 0.27A
